A NEW BEGINNING

Ready, willing and able is how I would describe the "Last of the MoRicans" paintball team this past Saturday. To the surprise of the "Horsemen", the "MoRican"s showed up with a well put together team of soldiers. An energetic well put together "Last of the Morican" team consisting of  a few crafty woodsball Vets, a few talented speedball gunners and a few feisty young rookies proved to be more then a handful for the "Horsemen".

When all the trash talk was done and everyone was locked and loaded it was time to get focused and head off  to the battle grounds. First stop the "Rabbit", a  slow paced well spread out woodsball field wich in the past belonged to the "Horsemen". "Last of the MoRicans" pushed forward at a faster pace then the "Horsemen" were use to seeing on this field. Overtaking about 75% of the field in a short amount of time helped the "MoRicans" begin the day with a victory. After a brief  regrouping and tactical position meeting drawn up by Capt. Coy aka "Picasso" the "Horsemen" were able to recliam the "Rabbit" and capture their first win of the Day. Tied 1-1 it was on to the "Delta" where the "Horsemen" were shutout and clearly not in sinc. Heading off to lunch down 3-1, one thing was clear, the "Horsemen" had to buckle down and find a way to play as a team. A quick lunch break and strategy briefing in the parking lot proved to be exactly what the "Horsemen" needed.

After Lunch it was off to the "Hyper Pipes" a fast paced speedball field wich almost always is an advantage to the team with the most speedball members. But not this time, the "Horsemen" took the "Hyper Pipes" by storm over powering the "MoRicans" and taking 2 out of 3 games away from the teams that had more speedball experience. Heading off to our last field of the day "Omaha", "Last of the MoRicans" were leading the day by a score of 4-3. The first battle on "Omaha" was a long Challenging one. With a lot of soldiers from each team being eliminated, the end result was the "MoRicans" pulling off yet another victory. With only 1 battle left for the day the "Horsemen" knew that they had to pull out a victory if they didn't want to go home  with the "MoRicans" up 2 games.  Needless to say the "Horsemen"  put on a show and won the last game to end the day with a 5-4 loss to the "Last of the MoRicans"

The 2010 seasons total stands tied "Last of  the MoRicans" (1)  the "Horsemen" (1). Thanks to evryony from both teams who came out and made our outting a pleasent one. We look forward to doing battle with you all again very soon.

Paintball Pioneers would like to send a special thanks out to Chris and the entire staff at (PSI) Paintball Sports Inc. for once again making us feel welcomed at your fields.

Season Opener

What a way to began a brand new season. Saurday January 23rd 2010 marked the beginning of our brand new season of paintball. If opening day is a sign of what the rest of this season will bring, then we are in for one hell of a fun season. Beautiful weather, tons of ammo, an arsenal of weapons and a crew of competetive, war thirsty soldiers made for a day of extreme excitment.

On opening day the "Horsemen" took on "last of the MoRicans". Short of soldiers, the "MoRicans" were forced to borrow the "Horsemens" newest recruit private Anthony Darby aka "Ironman Ant". "Ironman Ant" is well know for being an ageless athlete throughout NYC. This past weekend the crafty vet added yet another name to the list of sports he's blessed with his competetive nature. While playing on the opposite side of the field from private "Ironman Ant", "Horsemen" captains and team leaders Dame "The Eye" Drama, Whit "Achilles" Wop and Coy "Picaso" Glove were able to access his ability and skill level. With his agressive shooting we believe "Ironman Ant" will fit perfectly as a middle gunner to back up our scouts and protect our snipers. We look forward to seeing him in action along with the rest of the "Horsemen".

The day began with the "Horsemen" quickly jumping off to a 2-0 lead on the "Moricans". After settling down the "Moricans" Fell into a rhythm and settled into a very hard to penetrate formation which allowed them to eliminate the "Horsemen" one at a time, winning them their 1st mission of the new season. However after a halftime break and a quick regroup and briefing, the "Horsmen" finished out the day winning 3 straight missions ending the 1st tour of the 2010 season up 5 missions to 1. 2010 season tour totals Horsemen (1) Moricans (0).

We again this season are extending an invite to any teams who would like to challenge us to a day of paintball war. We can play against small teams as the "Horsemen" Or team up with the "MoRicans" and take on larger teams as the " Paintball Pioneers".

WHOEVER WANT WAR, BRING IT ON COME ON!!!!

POWER TO THE PAINTBALL

To say that paintball is fun would be the understatement of the century. Who knew when we started playing paintball that we'd be addicted to it just a few short months later. The past few months have been unbelievable. Already we've begun building an incredible team. By splitting up into our own small groups, we've discovered that we all have our own style of play. Together we form one hell of a paintball team. Already with runners, scouts and a couple of skilled snipers we are almost a complete team. While trying to master the woods ball game which is our specialty, this past week we were put to the test on the speed ball fields. It was great to see that even though we were playing against some very talented veterans, we were able to rise to the occasion and eliminate them many times during a grueling 12 game outing. We are still recruiting at this time. We can use a few more dedicated soldiers who are willing to put it all on the line and go to war with the Horsemen. The "Horsemen" are made up of 2 smaller teams the "Forest Felons" and the " Last of the Moricans". Together our goal is to become strong enough to enter paintball tournaments all over the tri state area. " Who The Fuck Want What"!!!!!!
